Holidays are for Celebrating
On December 18, the Short Hills Ski Club held its Holiday Party at the Elks Lodge in Summit, NJ. A record number of people came to enjoy the festivities and the great food (arranged for us by our incomparable party chairpersons). It was good to catch up with old friends and welcome new first time guests to our New Jersey meeting place. The almost universal buzz in the room was that we are off to a great ski/ride season this year; the prior weekend’s storm dumped a ton of fresh snow at our Vermont lodge and on the nearby slopes. Unfortunately, we all forgot our cameras.
Do you have a great story from the party tp share? Log in, and tell us about it in our forums.
Policy Updates
The Board of Trustees formally revised the SHSC Policy as of December 12, 2007 in order to conform it to the Club’s Bylaws, to conform it to past board resolutions, and to conform it to the trip captain documentation where there were discrepancies. So, if you thought that you knew Club Policy, or you now want to know Club Policy, the Policy is posted for your information and benefit. In many ways, it answers most of the questions that are often raised about our policy and procedures.
Attention Racers!
Bruce Roberts sent in the details for this year's racing season. Check out the details in the forums. Good luck racers!
